AI competitor analysis tool for AI answers

Our AI competitor analysis tool shows how often ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews name your brand next to the rivals you choose and which prompts send the answer to them instead of you. You see the gap for each group of prompts. Then you turn it into pages in the same app where you found it. Most teams start with a free AI visibility audit for their category, because it shows where they stand before they pay for anything.

Track AI mention share

Snoika's visibility reporting lists your share of mentions against named competitors for each prompt group and shows how often your brand is cited compared with theirs. A prompt group is a set of questions your buyers ask about one topic, such as "best e-signature tool for law firms" or "how to automate VAT filing".

Your share is the number of answers that name you, divided by all the brand mentions in that group. AI answers change from one run to the next, so we test the same prompt sets every week and report the trend, never a single run.

02

How citation gaps are found

We find a citation gap by running each tracked prompt and comparing the answer with the list of brands you named. For every response, we record whether your brand appears in the answer and whether the AI links to one of your pages as a source. These are separate problems, so we report them separately.

Mentions without a citation

An AI assistant can name your brand and still link to someone else's page as its source. Google's AI summaries draw on more than one site. A Pew Research Center study found that 88% of AI summaries cited three or more sources. When you're mentioned but not cited, the click and the authority go to whichever page was linked.

Prompts that skip your brand

To find ChatGPT prompts where a competitor ranks and you're missing, filter the results to answers that name a rival and leave you out. Each one is listed with the competitor's position and the sources the answer used. Sorted by prompt group, the list shows whether the gap is one stray question or a whole topic you haven't written about.

03

Prompt coverage by platform

Tracking covers ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, where most AI search traffic happens, and the number of platforms you monitor depends on your plan. Plans are on the pricing page.

ChatGPT alone reaches a large audience. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, said at DevDay 2025 that "more than 800 million people use ChatGPT every week." Coverage still matters, because one platform can recommend your rival while another recommends you, so we show your results for each platform separately.

04

Benchmarking named competitors

To benchmark your share of AI recommendations, you name your rivals and we measure every brand against the same weekly prompt set. The comparison is fair because everyone is measured against the same prompts. For each competitor, you see:

Mention share

How often each rival is named across the prompt group.

Citation rate

How often their pages are linked as a source.

Sentiment

The sentiment analysis of the answers that name them.

Pick the competitors your buyers actually compare you with. A competitor analysis against a company your buyers never consider gives you a number you can't act on.

05

Where rivals win visibility

Snoika shows where competitors are mentioned and you aren't, down to the sources the AI used to build each answer. Many of those sources sit outside the competitor's own site. Pew's data grouped Wikipedia and Reddit with YouTube; together, these sites made up a collective 15% of sources in Google's AI summaries.

We show which kind of source is behind each lost prompt before any work is planned:

  • A third-party source. A comparison page or a forum thread names the rival, so the fix sits off your site.
  • A better guide. The rival has published a stronger page, so the fix is a page of your own.
06

Turning insights into actions

Each gap becomes a content map page or a rewrite, or it informs a visibility strategy, within the same app where our search visibility tool found it. The same team tracks the gaps and fills them with published pages:

Plan

Every action points back to a specific lost prompt, so you can measure whether it worked.

Write

We create the page, in 135+ languages and regional variants if you sell in more than one market.

Check

Our team checks the automated work before anything reaches you.

Approve

You review and approve each page in the dashboard.

Publish

Pages go live on your own domain through a DNS connection, with no migration and on any CMS.

07

Integrations with your stack

Through the Snoika MCP and API, your AI visibility data shows up in your AI assistants and business intelligence tools. Access is arranged on a call with our team. That means your analysts can query share of voice next to their revenue data without exporting files by hand.

Onboarding

We connect GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager, plus your CMS when we publish pages for you.

08

Why share of voice matters

Share of voice matters because buyers who get an answer from AI click through to websites less often. Pew found that users clicked a traditional result in 8% of visits when an AI summary appeared, compared with 15% when none did. If the answer doesn't name you, the buyer will never reach your site.

Closing those gaps moves the numbers. Snoika's founder Anton Vedeshin reported to Startup Reporter 1StopVAT's move from 2.7% to 28.3% ChatGPT visibility in 16 weeks. 3DPrinterOS turned AI search into a steady inbound lead source, with 3–4 qualified inbound leads/day.

FAQ

Snoika's AI competitor analysis tool compares how often your brand and the rivals you choose appear in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews answers. We report brand mentions and links to your pages separately, since an answer can name you while citing another site.

Snoika measures your brand and your named competitors against the same weekly prompt set. You see mention share within each prompt group as a weekly trend, because a single run doesn't establish one.

Snoika lists every tracked answer that names a rival and leaves you out, with the competitor's position and the sources the answer used. Results are shown per platform, because one assistant can recommend you while another recommends a rival.

In Snoika, filter tracked answers to those that name a competitor but not your brand, then sort them by prompt group. That shows whether you're missing from one stray question or a whole topic, and each gap can become a planned page.
