We also write and publish content based on researched content maps we build, and we build AI-ready websites from scratch as well. If you searched "SEO agency California," this page explains how we deliver that work for a California business from Tallinn and how we measure it.

01

AI SEO for California companies

AI SEO is the work of getting a business found in classic Google results and named in AI answers, and California buyers now use both. Search engine optimization (SEO) still covers classic Google results, while generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) cover the answers that ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews write.

How our AI SEO differs

As an AI SEO agency, we add measurements of how often assistants mention your brand and which of your pages they cite to the rankings and clicks a traditional agency reports. That changes the work itself, because assistants draw on ranked pages as well as clear answers, and outside mentions also inform their responses.

At Snoika, one team runs both the platform and the SEO solutions. A person reviews every automated workflow before anything ships.

Whether SEO is still worth it in 2026

SEO is still worth it in 2026, because rankings decide which pages the AI reads. Pew Research Center tracked 900 US adults and found they clicked a result in 8% of visits when an AI summary appeared, against 15% when none did. Measuring rankings alone now undercounts your real visibility, so we judge results by qualified leads and AI visibility as well.

02

How assistants answer local queries

Assistants consult business websites and third-party mentions to answer local queries, and they also use directories before they name a few companies. BrightLocal's 2026 Local Consumer Review Survey found that 45% of consumers had used AI tools for local business recommendations, up from 6% the year before.

In BrightLocal's earlier study of ChatGPT Search, 58% of local sources were business websites. Your own pages still carry the most weight, so we make sure each service you sell has its own page that answers the question in plain words.

03

Agencies AI names locally

When an assistant names agencies, it lists firms that other sources already describe. The SOCi Local Visibility Index, cited by BrightLocal, found that less than half of businesses leading Google's local results also appear in AI local recommendations. Prompts such as "SEO agency Los Angeles" or "SEO agency San Francisco" show the gap quickly.

We run a fresh set of prompts every week in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews and report on four signals:

Mentions

How often an answer names your brand.

Share of voice

Your share of the names in each answer.

Sentiment

How the answer describes you.

Citations

Which pages the answer links as sources.

04

GEO visibility beyond traditional rankings

GEO visibility starts with normal search, because a page has to qualify for Google before AI Overviews can recommend it. Google's documentation says a page must be indexed and snippet-eligible, and adds: "There are no additional technical requirements." After that, the pages that get cited are the ones that answer the query directly and that other sites mention.

That is why we report results as they appear in AI answers. Snoika's founder Anton Vedeshin reported to Startup Reporter 1StopVAT's move from 2.7% to 28.3% ChatGPT visibility in 16 weeks. 3DPrinterOS turned AI search into a steady source of 3–4 qualified inbound leads/day.

05

Remote delivery from Tallinn

Remote delivery means you work with us online, and we publish to your site through a connection you approve. Snoika OÜ is registered in Estonia (code 17137619), and Anton Vedeshin is its founder. TechCrunch named the company to its 2026 Startup Battlefield 200. Tallinn runs about 10 hours ahead of California, so most handoffs happen in writing.

01

Baseline

You start with a free AI visibility report that shows which prompts mention you and which name competitors.

02

Onboarding

We learn about your category, your buyers and your goals.

03

Access

You give us access to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console. We also need access to Google Tag Manager and, if we'll publish pages, your content management system (CMS).

04

Publishing

You approve each page in the dashboard. It then goes live on your own domain through a DNS connection, with no migration, on any CMS.

06

Publishing languages for California

A 2015 US Census Bureau report found that 44% of California residents speak a language other than English at home, and two-thirds of them speak Spanish. We write in 135+ languages and regional variants, so you can choose US Spanish or Spain's Spanish to suit your audience, for example. For this market we work in four steps:

01

Audit

We start with an SEO audit of your site.

02

Content map

We build a content map backed by market analysis.

03

Writing

We write each page in the right language and variant, then publish it.

04

Tracking

We track how each page performs in Google and AI answers.

FAQ

Yes. Search visibility still decides which pages AI assistants read, so we treat SEO as the base of AI visibility. We measure its value through qualified leads and AI visibility, because lower click rates make traffic an incomplete measure.

An AI SEO agency adds tracking of brand mentions and page citations in AI answers to traditional search reporting. At Snoika, the same team also improves and publishes the content, so the work goes beyond monitoring.

A page first needs to be indexed by Google and eligible for a search snippet; Google lists no additional technical requirements for AI features. We then write pages that answer the relevant questions directly and track which of them get cited.

We run the whole engagement online from Tallinn, about 10 hours ahead of California, so most handoffs happen in writing. You approve every page in the dashboard before it goes live on your own domain through a DNS connection.
